Posted November 16, 2020 08:53:50In the last decade, China has built up a robust defense industry, including in the areas of precision weapons, precision fighter jets and surveillance systems.
But the capabilities of its most advanced air force are still largely unknown to the United States.
That’s why, at the start of this month, the US conducted a test flight of a prototype supersonic stealth bomber, and a demonstration of its stealth-capable long-range air superiority fighter, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
These are some of the first publicly released details of China’s new stealth aircraft and the US is now working with Beijing to develop the F35 to replace the F/A-18.
As part of the test, the Pentagon is also sending a team to the Zhuhai Aircraft Factory, a facility near Beijing that is used to produce the F2 stealth fighter.
The Pentagon said the F3 and F4 stealth fighters are expected to be delivered in 2019, but the F5 and F6 fighters are still being tested.
“We want to make sure that we’re able to demonstrate to the Chinese government that we have a credible air superiority system that’s a part of their air force,” Air Force Gen. John Hyten, commander of the F.A.A., said in an interview.
“And if we can demonstrate that, we’re going to be able to make them take that and leverage it in a way that we can improve their air power.”
The test flight and the demonstration of the stealth-fighter will mark a step forward for China.
China is working to develop a stealthy aircraft that could become a replacement for the F15 stealth fighter that the United Kingdom purchased in 2019.
Chinese leaders have long been looking to upgrade their air defenses, but it is unclear how they plan to do so given the country’s complex military architecture.
The F-22 and F-45 stealth fighters developed by Lockheed Martin and Boeing in the early 1990s were considered among the most advanced fighter planes in the world.
But they are not available for sale.
China has a long history of developing stealth aircraft, but with the F1A stealth fighter, developed in China, and the F4A stealth bomber developed in Russia, its efforts have slowed in recent years.
A Chinese defense ministry official told reporters on Thursday that the country will take a closer look at the U.S. F5 stealth fighter later this month.
At the moment, the U,S.
Air Force and the U.-S.
Navy do not have any plans to upgrade the F6 stealth fighter to the F7A stealth version, which will be the mainstay of China-U.S.-led operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
China has also been developing a stealthier version of the Su-27, the countrys newest fighter, which is currently being tested in China.
The Chinese are expected in 2019 to receive the F11A stealthy version, designed for the A-10, a highly advanced air superiority aircraft.
The F-15 is the mainstays of the U-2 spy plane program, which was designed by the United Nations and U.N. agencies.
The U.s. military is developing an upgraded version of this aircraft that will be capable of conducting surveillance missions in the air.
But while the U4, the most modern stealth fighter in the United states, is currently used by the U and U-3 spy planes, China is reportedly working on a stealth fighter for its own military.
According to the Defense Intelligence Agency, China plans to begin testing its F-18 stealth fighter sometime next year, although it is not yet clear when or if it will be ready for service.
