In a new post on the Hacker News website, Amazon says it is “coming out with a new Echo product to be called the Amazon Reducer.
We’re calling this the Amazon Alexa-equipped Reducer.”
The Echo-powered product will launch sometime in the second half of 2019, and is priced at $99.
The Amazon Reduce will come later in 2019, priced at an additional $10 per month.
The Echo Reducer is not an Echo-only product, though.
Amazon has also launched its own version of the Echo-branded Alexa speaker, called the Echo Echo Plus, which costs $79.
The Reducer will be sold as a standalone device, with a $49.99 price tag.
