Tech sites have been debating whether sound-curtains are more important for sound reduction than traditional curtains.
In the past, some experts have suggested using sound-blocking curtains for more than just sound reduction.
But a recent study from the University of Pennsylvania found that sound-cutting curtains are far more effective at reducing noise than curtains that block the sound.
The researchers, led by Benjamin Siegel, found that a sound-blocking curtain reduced noise by 33 percent more than the equivalent curtains that did not block the noise.
The study also found that curtains that blocked the sound reduced noise up to 30 percent more.
Here’s what to look for in sound-protection curtains.
