Glutathsione is a compound found in a variety of foods and is used to prevent damage to the blood vessels, skin, bones and organs.
One study found that glutathion is also important in reducing blood pressure in people with heart disease.
Researchers have found that eating foods high in glutathions in their diets have been linked to lowering blood pressure and heart disease risk in people.
The American Heart Association recommends that people limit their intake of foods that contain glutathines, including red meat, chicken, eggs, fish and seafood.
“People who eat a diet rich in glutathsione are at a lower risk of having high blood pressure or heart disease,” Dr. Robert B. Zellner, a cardiologist and senior fellow at the Kaiser Permanente Prevention Research Center, said in a statement.
“We are urging Americans to take a step back from processed foods, red meat and eggs to reduce their intake.”
In addition to reducing blood pressures, foods rich in glutathion have been shown to lower the risk of heart disease in people who eat them regularly.
Some experts suggest that glutathsion might also help protect against type 2 diabetes.
“The data show that people who consume a high-quality diet of glutathios, such as a diet that includes a diet of red meat or fish, have lower blood pressure than those who consume fewer glutathones,” Dr, David M. Himmelstein, a nutrition researcher and professor of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, said.
“They’re eating a diet high in these foods, and that’s good.”
